Lime & Cilantro is the new local standard for Latin cuisine. We left saying to ourselves that the food would have been reason enough to rave about it and come again soon. However, the service was also incredible. We even got an opportunity to meet and speak with Danny about his inspiration for many of the dishes. Yes, it really is the family recipe for tamales..which were incredible. The braised short rib is the perfect host to what is undoubtably the best mole I have ever had. We went on a Wednesday evening for dinner and we were seated right away. The impeccable experience at Lime & Cilantro will keep us coming back regularly.

Had dinner with a party of five and all of us loved every aspect of our meals. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. We ordered the corn hummus, poached pear salad, and guacamole as our appetizers and the homemade tacos, torta and branzino salads as the entrees – all the dishes included seasonal ingredients, tasted incredibly fresh with remarkable Latin notes. The desserts were also in line with the rest of our entrees – our favorite was the Tres Leches Bread Pudding. The food completely exceeded our expectations, with each dish bursting with flavor and a high level of creativity that left us thoroughly impressed. Thank you, Lime and Cilantro, for the exceptional food and service experience!

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food was incredible, the service was efficient and friendly, and the ambience was spectacular. From the appetizers, the chips and guac, to the entrees and desserts, there wasn’t a mediocre dish in the bunch. I’m recommending this place to everyone I know, and will be coming back frequently!

The service was decent, which is what I usually expect when dining alone. The food was enjoyable overall, but I’m unsure if I’d come back. Maria's Duo Tamales were beautifully presented, and the corn tamale was my favorite. However, the texture of the chicken didn't quite work for me. The sauce had a nice consistency, but I found it lacking in flavor. That said, the place shows a lot of promise.

The food is okay, but the portion sizes are too small and the prices are very expensive. By the end of this meal, my husband and I were not even remotely full. The menu states that the portion sizes are for two people, which is simply not accurate. I am paying for this meal, but I am not getting enough food. This is not fair.

Absolutely blown away by the food. I knew it’d be good based on all the reviews, but it exceeded all expectations. Mole short rib was incredible, best mole we’ve tried. Tamales - amazing, I didn’t know a regular corn tamale could be THAT delicious. Branzino crudo and Brussel sprouts - perfect appetizers. Oh, and definitely the best guac I’ve ever had, must try. Al pastor tacos - one of the highlights as well. Finished the evening with some fantastic desserts - tres leches bread pudding and cheesecake. Danny, the chef, came out and chatted with us for a while which was such a great touch! He’s absolutely delightful. Even though it’s a 45 min drive for us, we’ll be coming here at least on monthly basis. Can’t wait to try their brunch next time!

After a friend and I were cruising down Georgia Avenue a couple of weeks ago we noticed the bright green sign that immediately caught our eye. We said to ourselves that this place has to be new, since we lived in Montgomery County our whole lives never seeing this sign before any other time. Ironically I ended up meeting a different friend there for an early dinner yesterday and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience. Our server was very polite and he took the time to make recommendations for us. The food tastes as good as it looks with great presentation and robust Latin flavors. You can tell the chef and or kitchen staff puts in the work to make sure each item is picture perfect before arriving to your table. I plan on returning with more friends and luckily Lime & Cilantro is only 5 minutes away from where I live. Cheers!!!!

Lime and Cilantro is beautiful in every way! We had a family brunch here, and it was absolutely delicious, both the food and the energy! Each dish felt like it couldn’t get any better, yet it kept surpassing our expectations. Chef’s kiss to everything we tried! The Braised Mole Short Rib melts in your mouth, and the avocado toast is perfectly balanced with all the best ingredients. The desserts topped off the meal wonderfully—the cheesecake and bread pudding are amazing! You have to try them! I can’t wait to come back with the family! Apparently, they have a different brunch menu for the weekend, and I’m excited to try that! The aesthetic is also so calming; it felt like we were on vacation in a completely different place than Silver Spring. Keep rocking it, guys! Thanks for the top-quality food and service!
